The inaugural RSS8000 User Group Meeting was held in Farnborough for two days in October. More than 25 attendees from all over the world were provided with product presentations, technology roadmaps and live demonstrations of the latest versions of the RSS8000, Chameleon-II and PTS8000 equipment.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the photonics technologies used in the RSS8000 system and which included a working 50 metre link with leading edge spurious and dynamic range performance.
Bob Andrews, Commercial Director, remarked "We are very pleased with both the exceptional attendance and 100% positive feedback to this event. EWST has now exported to 24 countries and the RSS8000 continues to set the standard in threat simulation capability. Our users clearly were keen to see the latest software and hardware features of the RSS8000 and we received tremendous user feedback at this meeting. 2010 has seen more new, and returning, customers for the RSS8000 notably from Australia, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Taiwan and the USA and we continue to rapidly expand our simulator business around the world."
