Sir Gerald Howarth, Member of Parliament for Aldershot, officially opened EWST's new 13,000 sq. ft. facility at Cody Technology Park on 23rd July with more than 70 invited guests in attendance including Andrew Lloyd, Chief Executive of Rushmoor Borough Council. Welcoming addresses were given by John Chester-Parsons, Managing Director of EWST, Ed Weatherwax, Vice-President of Kratos Electronic Products Division and Bob Andrews, Commercial Director of EWST.
In his ribbon-cutting address, Sir Gerald noted the close cooperation between the UK government and EWST in penetrating international markets and the outstanding success of EWST’s EW test and evaluation products now deployed in 30 countries. He also recognised EWST as a market leader in its business sector and complimented the company on its world-class multi-spectral technologies and capabilities.
After the cutting of the ribbon, the guests attended a light buffet lunch and refreshments with conducted tours of the new facility.
